Dr. Benebo Victor J.K.

Dr. Benebo Victor J.K. has an MBA. He also holds a Distinction grade in Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) / Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife joint programme and was the best student of his class.

He also attended a postgraduate course on Quality Management in International Health at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He is a trained and Certified Assessor of the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) – Excellence Model, from the University of Heidelberg, Germany.

He had his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB.,BS) degree in 1997 and has worked in various government and private hospitals where his excellent practice, dedication to duty, loyalty and quality of service earned him several recommendations/honours, including a governor’s honours award, and positions of leadership in various non-professional and professional bodies.

Dr Benebo has significantly contributed to the growth of his organization (which he joined since 2001, pioneered the opening and successful operations of the northern zonal office, plus opening of branch offices) and the Nigerian Health Insurance Industry in general, including the start up process of the NHIS (working in various committees) via his vast experience in the industry for over a decade. He is a recipient of the Development in Nigeria Merit Award (DINMA) – Healthcare Delivery Category, 2009. He is an aluminous of the prestigious World Bank Institute.

He has had several trainings within Nigeria and abroad (Germany, Denmark, Netherland, South Africa, USA) via courses, seminars, workshops, etc. Dr Benebo is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management-NIM (Chartered), Member of the Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN), Society for Telemedicine & eHealth in Nigeria (SFTMeH), International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), International Member of the American College of Healthcare Executive (ACHE) and has contributed to their International Newsletter, among other professional bodies. He is currently pursuing the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam from PMI (having completed the course work).

Mr. Awoyemi I. Oluwole is a Certified Business Development Analyst from The Institute of Business Development (IBD) in 2015.  He hold Professional Diploma in Human Resource Management of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) in 2012, Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State in 2010, Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Management of same University in 2008,  Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Administration from The Federal Polytechnic, Ado – Ekiti, Ekiti State in 1997, Diploma in Data Processing from Ceela Computer Training Centre, Lagos in 1995.

He has equally been enlisted into the following professional bodies, Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM), Member, Certified Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria (MCCM), Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (ACIPM), Associate Member, Institute of Business Development (ABDI).

Mr. Awoyemi I. Oluwole has a distinguished versatile Administration/Human Resource career spanning over a decade in both private, corporate and public sectors.  He started his career as Secretary with Caleb International Schools, Lagos in October 1994 – December 1995, Confidential Secretary, Faladbod Group of Companies, Lagos in May – August 1999, Confidential Secretary, Nigerian Law Publications Ltd/Gani Fawehinmi Chambers, Lagos in September 1999 – June 2001, Confidential Secretary, Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria, Federal Secretariat, Ikoyi, Lagos in July 2001 – November 2001 respectively.   He was enlisted in the workforce of Southern Rose Healthcare Ltd (now Mediplan Healthcare Ltd, Lagos) in November 2001 as Secretary/Personal Assistant to the Managing Director/CEO.  A post he held till year 2006 when he was elevated to the position of Head, Administration/Human Resource Department of the Company in addition to his current portfolio.

An astute manager of men, materials and resources; his drive, knowledge and pedigree rub on the staff.   His sound presence of mind and impeccable sense of duty had elevated him to the group of the Management Team of the company which has progressively accelerated his overseeing of the Administration and Human Resource aspects of Mediplan Healthcare Ltd since April 1, 2006.   He was appointed Head of Training on January 7, 2011.

In the days of his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), his commitment to duty marked him out.  He was honourably decorated with the State Award (Certificate of Honour) by the Government of Enugu State in collaboration with National Youth Service Corps, Enugu State for his outstanding performance and meritorious services to the Government and people of Enugu State (1997/1998 Batch A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)).   A recipient of the 2014 Mediplan Healthcare Ltd Long Service Awardand Best Manager Award respectively.   He is happily married with children.

Dr. Serrano Oluwafemi

Head, Medical Operation & Quality Assurance

Dr. Serrano Oluwafemi is a dynamic medical practitioner with over seven (7) years experience both in clinical and managed care industry. He graduated with a Bachelors of Medicine, Bachelors of Surgery (M.B.B.S) degree from the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos in 2004.

He has attended several seminars, conferences and workshops bordering on healthcare delivery in Nigeria. He has a flare for IT in medicine. He has worked as research assistant in several projects sponsored by Foundation for Advancement of international Medical Education and Research (FAIMER).

He has worked as specialist (Resident) doctor in Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, General Hospitals and has some part of his medical training outside the country. He received several awards during his youth service. He joined Mediplan Healthcare Limited and has risen rapidly to the post Senior Manager.

He is an International Member of the American College of Healthcare Executive (ACHE).

Head, Information Technology Department

Mr. Bebebaraseigha Michael Ebiye is a seasoned and excellent Computer Programmer. He holds a Bachelors degree in Information System Management from Almeda University Idaho, USA, a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Lagos State University Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria. He is also a certified IT Business manager from the IT Managers Institute, Columbiahe has a certificate in conflict resolution, conflict analysis, negotiation and conflict management all from the United States Institute of Peace. He has many years post qualification experience in various Organizations. He is versatile in Software development and database management. He has taken part in several seminars, conferences, workshops and courses on Healthcare Informatics.

He started his working career in 1992 with Consolidated Breweries Plc as a Computer Operator/PayRoll Officer and was later promoted to the post of Plant Computer Programmer in 1994. In 1996, he got employment into Allstates Trust Bank Plc as an Area Computer Supervisor in charge of Inland Region. Due to his performance, he was redeployed back to the office as the Lagos Region Supervisor in 2001. In year 2004, his service was transferred to AVC Fund Ltd (Finance Firm) as the Head, Information Systems Department.

Mr. Bebebaraseigha Michael Ebiye with over 11 years experience in the Banking Industry decided to expand his IT career by joining Mediplan Healthcare Limited in 2007 as a Manager, Information Systems. In 2009, he was made the Head, Information Systems Department, the position he holds till date.


Mr. Fredrick Ifeanyi Offor

Head, Marketing/Business Development

Mr. Fredrick Ifeanyi Offor is a seasoned and professional Marketing and Brand Management Expert. He has an MBA in Marketing from the University of Maiduguri in 1995 and an MPA (Human Resources Management/ Public Administration) from the same University in 1992. He graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (B.ED, History/ Education) in 1988.

Mr. Ifeanyi Offor started his working career in 1989 when he was employed by Champion Newspapers Ltd as a Circulation Assistant in 1989 and posted to Maiduguri and rose to the level of an Assistant Manager. He joined Precious Palm Royal Hotel, Benin City in 1999 as a Marketing Manager where within a short time transformed the Hotel as one of the best hotels in Benin City. In 2000, he joined Chisco Group as the Personal Assistant to the Group Chairman and later combined the position with the Acting Head, Human Resources/ Administration. As Personal Assistant to the Chairman, he initiated innovation and strategies that made the Company one of the leading brands in the Transport and Logistics of the Nigerian economy. As Acting Head, HR/ Administration, he pioneered the recruitment of quality manpower that has transformed the Organization to a Conglomerate. He equally initiated ideas that created Strategic Business Units for the Organization like the CTN Express Ltd, the key transporters scheme with Nigerian Breweries Plc and the Hospitality and Real Estate Sectors. He joined West African Distributors Ltd, a leading FMCG in 2006 as Head, Marketing/ Operations where he pioneered a nationwide Distribution network that expanded the scope and business of the Company and increased its fortunes within two years. He has equally worked with Beulah Group, one of the leading Medical Laboratories in Lagos in 2011 as Head, Marketing/ Business Development.

Mr. Ifeanyi Offor is a member of the following Professional Organizations: Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered); Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigerian Marketing Association and the Chartered Institute of Administration. He has attended several trainings in Marketing, Sales, Brand Management and Human Resources Management. Mr. Offor believes that the success or failure of any Organization lies in the quality of its manpower and that quality manpower is key to the transformation of an Organization.

Mr. Alom Ekenekot  

Medical Manager, South-East Operations

Mr. Alom Ekenekot is the Zonal Manager in charge of South-East Operations of Mediplan Healthcare Ltd.

He is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), Registered Nurse (RN), and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business administration from University of Abuja, and a Fellow of Chartered Institute of project Managers (FCIPM). He has attend seminars and training in Managed Care.

Before his engagement with Mediplan Healthcare Limited, he has worked  with the Neuro_Psychiatric Hospital, Rumuigbo, PortHarcourt in the Management of the mentally ill and rose to the rank of a Principal Nursing officer (PNO) with the Hospital where he later voluntarily resigned to take up appointments with offshore oil servicing firms: Interoil services Ltd as Medic/Radio Officer on board the Hook-up barge African Sea Work (ASW) engaged in offshore constructions and hook-up operations; Alusteel construction company as Medic/Safety Officer on board the Lay Barge Rosamunde, and MV Taurus servicing offshore hook- ups /pipe laying assignments for multi-national companies like  Texaco, MOBIL, SHELL and AGIP, ELF  in offshore Nigeria and Congo.  He is well acquainted with offshore medical operations. He has also worked at Rehoboth Specialist Hospital (an orthopaedic Hospital) in Port Harcourt. With the emergence of the Nigerian Health Insurance Scheme, he took up a pioneering engagement with Southern Rose Health Services Limited, a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) which later metamorphosed into Mediplan Healthcare Ltd. Mr. Alom Ekenekot is married and has served as past President of various youth organizations. He has also served as Patron Diocese of Abuja Youth Fellowship of the Methodist Church of Nigeria.
